| 2024-09-22 |  | | Need some help! I recently adopted a vector from a friend who didn't want him anymore. I have him all set up and input all of the correct information and even got the green "ok". The problem is that when I click on "connect and play" it keeps saying that I need to set up an initial profile first. I used the wirepod ip as I only just got it and don't have an anki account. Did I miss a step? Or is it just malfunctioning? |
| 2022-05-14 |  | | 2022 Update After the updates the app immediately crashes when attempting to connect. The setup previously worked. Original 5* Review Excellent remote control app without a pc. This gives a massive functionality improvement for the robot. With some router tweaks, you could drive this around and monitor your house while you're away. With a click of a button, it'll go back home to recharge. The latest update shows an ad blocker warning, but I'm expecting the developers to give a solution soon. |
| 2021-09-25 |  | | Works great. Looking forward to future development. Also for anyone having invalid password errors, make sure you use your Anki account, not DDL account, or else it will not work. Also, make sure you port forward the default port for Vector CTRL on your router or else you your connection will be refused. Would suggest possibly updating the controls for moving vector, as it is quite jumpy at times but that could be due to the delay. |
| 2021-09-11 |  | | Can't finish the setup, I use my email address that I used to register on the website with the correct password and keep getting told it's not the right password. I've logged out of my account on the anki site and entered the exact same info as I put on here and can log in no problems to their website, this app just refuses to connect saying the password is incorrect. I uninstalled this app and then reinstalled it, entered all the exact same information and this time it connected. |

That's a bit intrusive and concerns me. I was able to connect using the old Anki API and the Vector SDK. I'm able to take control of the robot myself. Thanks. |
| 2020-10-12 |  | | I used this app a lot for fun.though I had to uninstall and reinstall it, cause of issues. Now there's issues and 'vectir ctrl has stopped' keeps coming up. I've done what the instruction video said, but sadly once pressing set, it goes on o further. Using the same phone I used previous, but maybe the update has messed something up. Be happy to here if there's a solution |

Since I just downloaded the app I know it connects to the internet and there is only one router so both phone and Vector have same IP address. Can't find email address to get ahold of developer for trouble shooting. |

It's a password!) and upon pushing the connect button displays a error message telling me that one or more of 6 input fields have an error, with no information on what's wrong or in what field. I don't want to see this app become a paid thing, but I'd love to see a "support the developer" option or something allowing me to donate just a couple of bucks as I can't seem to find one. | 2020-03-09 |  | | Pretty Good App. Took me a few minutes to understand how to connect and app crashed a couple of times, after that all works great. Only thing I don't like is that virtual joystick left and right is way over sensitive on my phone. Can go in straight line but turning keeps going way over. Would be nice to have tank like controls (ie control power to each set of Caterpillar tracks and steer by increasing or decreasing power to one side). I'd happily pay a small amount to remove adverts. |
