I cannot get the app to remain connected. I have to manually enter my Samsung TVs IP address. The app will control the TV for a couple of minutes, but then it goes completely unresponsive until I "terminate" the connection to my TV then start all over manually reentering the IP address.

Hi there, I have the app, and it controls the channels on my samsung TV via alexa. but when the app is closed for too long on the phone it stops working and the app has to be reopened before it starts working again is there any way to get around this?

In the absence of a remote control, this app makes it easier to manipulate my Samsung smart tv. The occasional ads are indeed annoying, but I guess it is understandable. This app compared to other remote control apps I've tried, is the least annoying and the most straightforward. No need to select the brand. One just needs to scan on the LAN and the connect at ease!
