Acid - TB303 Synth and TR808 Drum Emulator

"Acid" is a real-time emulator of the Roland TB303 synthesizer, TR808, and TR909 drum machines. Users can draw in notes, adjust sound parameters, and create random patterns. The app enables WAV and FLAC file exports for sharing via IPFS, and users can save their song's source code. It works on Android 10 and 11, providing a unique music creation experience with an update to accommodate additional features in the upcoming "Acid 2" version.

Realtime emulation of a Roland TB303 synthesizer, TR808 and TR909 drum machines.

(Check out the app "Acid 2" for TWO TB303 synths! It's a work in progress,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acid2 )

The export button will try and save the song's WAV file and FLAC file to the external sdcard(can't in Android 10?), and then upload the FLAC file to the Interplanetary Filesystem (IPFS), for sharing with friends.

Conversion of the song to flac and uploading can take many minutes, you'll only know when it's done when a web browser pops up with a link to your song you can share. Leave the app open and be patient! IPFS is not a permanent storage solution, so your song will vanish when it becomes unpopular, download any audio you want to keep from the link before it's gone.

The In/Out buttons will save the 'source code' of the song, so you can cut/paste/share it as text.

For a number if years I've been waiting for this app to improve so I can use It in my music production. However, no update to date has made any difference. The performance issues are as bad now ax they have ever been. Such a shame as this app could have been really good & useful

Great app. Scratches that acid itch perfectly for quick jam sessions, or serious track development. The acid chirps are spot on emulations. Knobs are a bit small but still responsive. I have been jamming on this thing for years now.
