2024-08-07 | Rachel Winslow | This app is trash. I had an avg score of 85 for the first few months (when it was too early to get the discount), then it quickly dropped to 64 with no explanation. I have a handful of hard brakes in the past 8 months, but nothing else. My score has not moved from 64 one point in either direction in over 3 months. Another app I use for the same time period has me at an 87. They want you to drive safer, but they don't want you to save money. It helps them, not you. | |
2024-05-29 | Cheryl Mcguire | It seems using cruise control is not a good idea. When go down hill auto picks up speed. Then when you level out the auto brakes to get speed back down to set speed. This breaking registers as hard breaking.what a terrible app. 4 hard braking in one 20 mile trip. not acurate. I have talked to someone associated with this app. And I am doing very good as long as I have at least 85%. But still unhappy with app. I just got 3 hard braking that is so inaccurate. Did not happen. This app is trash | |
2023-12-20 | Willie Castro | Sometimes, it says that I was the passenger and have no events. When I change it to I was the driver the app will say I had an event like hard breaking. I've taken screenshots and can prove it. For this reason I believe the app is programmed not to allow you to get a better score and is not accurate. Also, the app runs constantly and drains the battery on my phone. Furthermore, after I stop driving I can't use my phone for 5-10 minutes or the app will say I was distracted while driving. | |

No matter how you select "roadside assistance" it all starts by "loading [my] chat experience" and thats also where it ends. It never gets off the ground. Must be some awesome chat experience, because it needs more bandwidth than I can provide either via cellular data or wi-fi. After about 5 mins the phone is hot and the battery is diminished – 2 dead batteries now and no help! | |

Edit 8/10/23 Bought a new car so I have to go through the on board process again, like my driving changes from one car to another. And now they want physical fitness access.....that is ABSURD!!! I've used the app for roadside assistance as well, and it was super simple to set things up, I was impressed with the simplicity. The tow company that took the call was questionable though. Showed up 5 hours after they told me they'd be there within the hour. And that's only after I texted them twice. Thankfully I didn't need a ride. I don't blame AAA for that. I like the app. | |
2022-12-14 | Juice Corozzo | Day 1 member..and already regret it. I've been a member for all of 10mins. App had several errors, website also has several error. Attempted to "Change Auto Pay" and conveniently I get an error message each time saying try again later. Forcing a customer to keep Auto-Pay with constant error when they try to change it..doesn't retain the customer and make money. I will simply order a new card and discontinue service. If you have to hold your customers' payment plans hostage, you're doing it wrong | |
2022-03-11 | A Google user | Can't get app to open. Four years later. And a different phone, reinstalled the app and for over 10 minutes it just says "loading........". Still a useless app. I'm a six year member. Love AAA. Just don't like the app. Edit: I did that. Uninstalled it 4 years ago when it wouldn't work. Tried installing the new app a few days ago and it still doesn't work. Zero stars. | |
2021-11-05 | Ariel Aguayo | Runs 24/7. Reduces your score for "hard breaking" when safety and the Texas Transportation Code require that you slow for pedestrians or traffic. Not for coming to a sudden, complete stop, not for slamming the break, but for decelerating over several seconds, as public safety and the law require. The threshold for what constitutes "hard breaking" goes well beyond the reasonable scope. This app endangers public safety by encouraging dangerous driving, despite purporting to do the opposite. | |
2021-09-04 | Christopher Weaver | I used the app for the first time today, because I needed a tow and I found a bug while using it on an Android phone. Setting up the tow was very easy. However, there is an overlay banner that gives you a summary of your tow submission that I can't swipe away, which is frustrating. So, now I can't see anything about the tow truck information or look at the map. I would give it more stars if this wasn't an issue. |
