2024-11-24 | Arthur Valhuerdi | The hourly view occasionally switches to graph view and there is no option to go back. I then need to stop the app and clear the cache and restart, that works for a random number of times. Please correct. Otherwise happy with my one time purchase, although you are not offering all the features of the subscription version.
2024-11-21 | 3baay3376 | Best weather app EVER. Always bang on & I can trust this app to the literal minute for rain/snow events, major weather alerts/warnings for tornadoes & damaging storms well before even local radar reports and can trust it to plan my days around weather events days or even weeks in advance- it'sTHAT GOOD. Also love the interactive radar that I can pinpoint to my exact location & being able to keep several cities/countries in my "favorites" to quickly switch back & forth for travel. GOOD STUFF!
2024-11-21 | Glencora Jones | I just need a 10-day forecast, and the temperature and weather to show in my status bar. The status bar works, but you have to go through a few hoops to get the 10-day forecast. Plus, my husband and I have the same app and the same location, but his app says it's 42 degrees while mine says 48. So the accuracy sucks.
2024-11-19 | Karen K | I don't understand why I the world that my location is such a hard thing to find. I'm always at home and I give location permission for a precise location. When you live in Wisconsin between the summer weather and the blowing cold winters, I'd really like to have weather alerts for my actual location and not 15 miles away
2024-11-19 | Jocelyn Mace | This used to be my absolute go-to for weather on my phone and PC, but the mobile app is 100% broken. It will not load properly, and when it loads partially it claims I need to give it location privs, but it has them, always on, and still fails to find *any* locations. I will await an update, because I find the app super useful, especially the "Minutecast" portion and snowfall etc. But dang it literally JUST renewed a year long sub for Pro too... very irritating. Please check functionality, devs!
2024-11-11 | Gary Webb | I like the advisories, convenient. The updated app so easy to access, and pinpoint accuracy. I get current and future forecasts quickly. All the weather information I need is right here. Update 11/11/2024 : Still a 5 star rating from me. This is where I get needed weather info. I personally haven't seen all the issues other reviews mention, app works great for me. The forecasting is very accurate and I use it for travel or checking on other locations where people I know live.
2024-11-10 | Hope Ful | Location QUIRK!!! It often insists that my current location is in a subdivision clear across town that does not have its own zip code and is NOT a city. But, it insists that since I'm in that zip, I must be in that subdivision, which again is NOT a city as it indicates. And, I guess seeing ads isn't enough of a trade to use it for free because sometimes no info propagates without giving location access despite already having a default location chosen.
2024-10-23 | Brandon Beaumia | Paid to get rid of ads on Premium a long time ago, but now I'm getting ads for Premium+ (the subscription). If you are a Premium member, Premium+ ads should have a toggle, otherwise what did I even pay for the first time? Response to dev: I paid to remove ads. You've since introduced ads for your subscription service. Not sure how I'm "still getting what I paid for": an ad as in ad whether it's for your product or someone else's.
2024-10-20 | Tom Pitts | Update: Original post below was for the old single-purchase paid version, which no longer exists. AccuWeather won't be getting a recurring purchase from me. That said the free version is still decent. Occasional ads aren't too annoying and you aren't smashed in the face by clickbait. -original- Way better interface with as much, if not more, accuracy than weather . com app. Also, there IS news, but it isn't really the focus. Highly recommend, it was well worth the $2 for the paid version
2024-10-18 | Anthony Brown | I'm no longer able to view the hourly chart in graph mode - only list mode is available. I like to be able to be able to search ahead but cloud counter to determine if my solar panels are going to get a full charge for the day. I've even deleted the cache & data, then uninstalled the app & reinstalled it with the same result. |
