2022-01-25 | Ronnie Bantau | Been playing for a few days now and I like the game. :I LOVE that you are forced to watch ZERO ads. You can choose to watch a couple for useful boosts. The graphics are pretty sweet. I plug in my phone and get a round set up and let it play while I'm watchin my shows. Grind away, reset, spend your upgrade points and then get further. I'm slightly bored with it but it's still one of those fun time wasters and fun to play. Check it out for sure !
2021-12-17 | Michael Neff | In a world of idle games, this one stands out. The common Skinnerian formula doesn't exist here; you can just play the game, all the way through. You don't have to spend a dime, and you only watch ads when YOU want to. For that, I thank the developer(s). As far as the game itself, its clear-cut TD with interesting tower choices, and a rewarding prestige system. It's a winning recipe for a good TD game, with an added bonus of a satisfying, relaxing visual display in game. Bravo!
2021-08-06 | Swoot | I have played incremental games for 7 or 8 years now, starting with cookie clicker and then playing as many as possible which include classics like Kittens Game, Candybox, A Dark Room, Clicker Heroes, etc. And Towerball is one of the instant classics. It has a great sense of progression while not having intrusive ads. The gameplay is fresh and intuitive and is by far the best incremental "Tower Defense" game ever made. I have too many good things to say about this masterpiece to fit here.
2021-07-27 | Joshua Stiner | Finally a free to play mobile game that's actually free to play. A variety of towers provide enough unique strategies to make the game interesting while still being simple enough to understand the basics. A bit of an issue with turret balancing, the gun and cannon feel rather weak at the beginning of the game, I am hoping that changes later on with more upgrades. overall a solid game.
2021-07-15 | Nicholas O'Brien | Pretty fun td/idle hybrid. There are times where it gets slow, but that just means it's time to idle. Cloud saves also carry over to steam. Dev is very active/responsive on discord. Only frustrating thing is some actions cause you to "prestige" without prompting, which is infuriating if you're just trying to figure out what the button does. When in doubt, check the help page first!
2021-06-30 | Patrick | Neat game, but seems pretty buggy, and there's lots of room for improvement. Every tower has things that don't work right or text that doesn't display information in a helpful way. Edit: Just after leaving this, I figured out about clicking the tower type in dark upgrades to find out about the towers - all the "bugs" were proper functions for the towers. This informational feature should be more prominent.
2021-05-03 | Skin Walker | I love the game, however the import export system is useless. I recently moved phones and wanted to move my game over, however the excessively long text string made it prohibitive to move from one device to another, and even once there, the import simply did not work. If I'm missing something, it isn't explained anywhere I could find. Game itself is great however.
2021-02-01 | godblesspagans | Good, and respectful game. Graphics are ok. The grind is real, it is a slow game. You can play some ads for tactical advantages, but it is when you want. The "get more stuff if you watch this video" doesn't pop up, and the button to do it on doesn't wiggle or sparkle or make stupid noises. You can also purchase upgrades, but it to doesn't pop up, or wiggle, or otherwise annoy you. WIsh more game makers were like this.
2021-01-29 | Amy And Daniel Capek | fun game and doesn't throw adds at you every minute. more developers need to realize that they'd get more good reviews and downloads when they let you choose to see ads for a reward instead of just every level or every min making you watch an ad and getting nothing. Edit: first time I've given a review and the developer responds and doesn't just copy and paste a response. Shows that you take pride in what you've made and care about what people say about it.
2021-01-28 | Ryan B | So to be fair this game is a fun time killer. There are no paywalls. Gems are fairly easy to aquire. The issues that I am having with it is I will stop playing and come back a few hours later and either all of my turrets have disappeared or they will have stopped collecting coins (not perk points though which I thought was weird). Anyways if you need a game to kill time then I would recommend it if you don't mind the bugs. |
