| 2024-08-23 |  | | had a good time with the puzzles smart hints need work. there are several times the smart hints gave logic that was inaccurate to the board situation or, on at least two occasions, flat out wrong (says there's a hidden single but # is flagged as incorrect). |

I appreciated the smart hints that take the pencil marks into account and led my thinking, not just gave me info I already had or hadn't gotten to, yet. I wish there were more queen puzzles and less king ones. I'm sure you could get a lot more puzzles for less money, but I consider it a payment for all the joy I get from their videos. |

Shame there's only a very limited amount of puzzles but, still, if you're into the stuff, it's worth the money. |
| 2023-03-20 |  | | Update: Docking a star until it gets the new interface in the Cracking The Cryptic app After watching dozens of CrackingTheCryptic videos I got the Classic Sudoku app and have really been enjoy it. I was excited for this variant (three really!) because of the extra spacial aspect to it and let me say I haven't been disappointed! The puzzles are really a joy to solve and I find them to be a bit easier than the Classic puzzles which really helps my ego 😂 |

I rebooted and completely uninstalled and reinstalled the app but that didn't help. As is, I can only give this 1 star since it won't even run. Will update if issue gets fixed. |

One star is missing only because the game doesn't ask you if you're sure, when you misclick "New game", after spending a week (some hours) with a sudoku and are really close to getting it. This goes to all your sudoku apps. Please put a confirmation to the "new game" if you already have a game started. It's very frustrating when your fat finger touches wrong places. |

For next update I suggest having all solve times to keep track of # of solves. 26/12/20: The game itself is great! The clues however are often not very helpful, as I find I took a completely different path which has not been considered... It would also be good to have both types of pencil marks, like you have on the computer app (something to think about for the next update!). |
| 2020-10-19 |  | | Solid interface but a bit cramped. For example, it's difficult to hit the color button you're aiming for -- at least with my Pixel 3a XL and my thumb. The puzzles are top notch but they get harder WAY too quickly IMO, and there aren't very many. I'd love to see all these apps integrated into a single app with purchasable packs. Also, some kind of tier system so novices can practice with the easier puzzles while the experts can jump straight to the harder ones. |
| 2020-08-26 |  | | If you're not here for the hints, no worries, it's a great app. The hints often are completely incorrect. Hint #3 on puzzle 16 of chess sudoku says you can place a 7 in column 4, but there's 2 possibilities for 7 in the column, in the box, and in the row. I think this also skews the difficulty on puzzles with incorrect hints, usually making them far harder than their star rating as the puzzles WOULD be easy enough if they worked the way the hints suggest. |
