2024-11-12 | Bella Hyde | This game is amazing! I'm really happy I got it it helps alot with my anxiety when I'm in a stressful situation and is a fun take care of a virtual pet game! There's mini games, feeding, exploration ect, all just to grow your bond with the virtual pet! I recommend this game for people with anxiety or people who have a hard time with there emotions
2024-10-15 | Lux Volo | Absolutely love the app and decided to unlock everything. Unfortunately clicking on the pet spa crashes the app every time. I really want to customize my little Amaru, but otherwise it's been wonderful. Update: Decided to play the puzzle parlor for the first time and discovered that it, too, crashes the app.
2024-10-04 | Amy Starr | The thing that drew me to this app is that you get a really cute cat-like creature, with hand-drawn animations. I haven't explored the app extensively so far, but it has cute little games, customizable goals, and achievable goals for the daily streak. Nothing overly complex, it's pretty straightforward, but it serves its purpose well. Dunno how well it'll last over months, but I'm enjoying it right now.
2024-09-14 | Calikov | I had been seeing this pop up on the app store for a few years now and I always wondered about it and now I finally tried it. It's so very charming and wholesome. Thank you so much for the key donation system. We have a lot of things to save up and pay for and the fact that I got to get the full experience for free is amazing. I'll definitely pay it back. Thank you for creating the silly little winged cat friend
2024-09-07 | Nora Buss | It's a great app, and it's very relaxing, but I do have one suggestion: add the images for the puzzles to the "downloads" section so we don't have to play them online first. I recently acquired more puzzles but couldn't actually play them because I've been offline the past few days. Edit in response to dev response: I have no issue with the download system. I'm simply suggesting you add the puzzles to it as well
2024-07-25 | Madison H | Words cannot express how much I love this. Not only is it cute, simple and clean, but it helps practice self care and the guided practices to help with breathing and anxiety is amazing. I love how it has goals, and extra things like sending Amaru out exploring, and playing games. If I could give more stars, I would have zero hesitation doing so. Amazing app, definitely recommend.
2024-07-10 | C H | Having played this for a few days, I'm enjoying it. Something about the specific wording and vibe from the mindfulness practices feels more approachable than what I find on YouTube. I also use it to keep on top of my to do list at work, by sending Amaru out to explore for however long I think a task will take, and then seeing if I can complete it before they return. It's not a substitute for therapy and medical care, but I've found it very helpful in building better habits in an intentional way.
2024-06-10 | AJ Opdyke | I love this app. It allows me to have a few minutes out of my day to have something to focus, and relax to. But I do have a small suggestion for the developers. I think it would be cool if there was a widget add on to add to home screens. I have other apps like this one for self care goals, that have widgets, and having it always be on my home screen helps me remember to do my goals and stuff. Just a small suggestion that's I think would be a nice touch to the app. Overall, great, helpful app.
2024-06-03 | Elisabeth Reineke | This app has kept me more motivated to keep up with self care for my mental health than anything else. That said, I'd love to see some improvements like more direct interactions with Amaru and more idle animations for him. The biggest improvement would be fixing texting on here. It's so bad I actually switch to a separate journal app to journal there and then copy and paste that into Amaru. My other issue is I lost my streak today even though I only missed a day and I am pretty sad about it.
2023-11-06 | Emily Allen | I've had this app for several months and it's perfect. I find nothing wrong with it, except if you run amaru on a chromebook or computer, and you leave it open for several hours on a game, then go back into it, and finish the game, it gives you massive amounts of beads; the currency you get. I understand how much beads you get is related to how much time you spend in the game. In relation to the puzzle game. I'm just pointing out a small thing thar you might not be able to fix. Lovely game!!! |
