| 2024-09-03 |  | | Played the old version for years and really liked. Played new version about 3 weeks and I don't know what I am playing on this version, but it's not human. No human would make the STUPID decisions this game opponent makes. Roll 1 six, 2 ones , 1 three, and 2 two and uses the 1 six for score??? Small straight with 2 rolls left and doesn't use the remaining rolls to try for large straight?? I will be deleting this app after writing this updated review. Was fun while the old version lasted. |
| 2024-08-28 |  | | Regarding the new graphics - that good ol' saying, "don't fix something that's not broken", definitely applies. The former yatzy board was clearer and when a row/answer was selected, it was also more clear (being outlined in color). There is no benefit to having 3D dice. It doesn't make sense to have every classic game from childhood turn into a modern computer graphic showcase. The nostalgia is gone and the fun went with it. |

It's too busy, not enough visual distinction between points already scored vs. options available for current roll and opponent's score. And the addition of the levels and diamonds to earn turns me off - I just want to kill some time with a few rounds, not be inundated with these 'extras.' |
| 2024-08-08 |  | | Been playing this game for more years than I can remember and suddenly this major "upgrade" happens and disaster strikes. Has Loop Games been the company all along? Was Yatzy sold to them? A complete redesign of the software for all of the wrong reasons. So many bugs and an overall design that is ......blech. What's going on? Not playing anymore until advised that problems are fixed. Thank you. |

I have played well over 10,000 rounds, and then you change it to this? The UI is so hard to read now. The dice are slower and smaller, the gems are super obnoxious, and all the statistics are gone. Absolute nightmare! |

It's hard to distinguish between scores I already entered and which are still available. I also don't want a game with ads or ways to win gems and compete even when I'm in solo playing mode. Uninstalling now. Enjoyed it for a long time and am hoping to find a different app that's not trying to be so fancy. |
| 2024-04-27 |  | | Updated: This game has been ruined. I have the old version on a different phone. It's still working fine. But I can't get that version on my backup phone. The company left a note to fix this complaint with an update. The only update is on the version I love.👎 No way. Old review: Classic Yatzy. No frills, no fireworks. Perfect. You can play solo or against a challenger, I love it. Only problem is the ads. Too many. Too hard to get out of them and back to the game. |

Total drag because just 1 year ago, I had posted the review below. This has always been my favorite board game 🎲. I love this app! 3/19/23-Still love this game. However, I would pay a small fee to stop the ads. |
| 2023-11-26 |  | | I really enjoyed the simplicity of the game play and the ability to play against bots, online opponents, or a friend sitting next to you (I used to play with my 9 year old son from time to time). However, I began to notice that it doesn't always calculate scores correctly. I reached out to the dev's support team and included screenshots that prove the calculation errors, but they never responded. It's a shame. I really enjoyed this game. |

Now it's overly flashy, has daily login bonuses, unskipable tutorials, takes too long to load (if it even does), a store for rerolls, and is still loaded with invasive ads. Thanks for ruining yet another game. I'm just gonna go buy some physical dice |
