2024-11-03 | Gene Mackey Jr. | I love the way this game can be challenging by making you think about placement and order of upgrades. The graphics, characters, and towers are exceptional in their design and creativity. There is a story line. I haven't been paying ( ADHD excited for the next map) attention but it looks pretty cool. Well done. Protip - Build to keep everything in front of you. It's ok to let some things past with the right upgrades.
2024-10-27 | Dylan Roney | What happened to your daily rewards? Without it, this game is severally leaning towards "pay to win." If you could just bring that back, you'd get at least a 4-5 star rating for game play and entertainment. But without it, there's no point to continue to only get 1 crystal from random maps that get harder every time you win one, and 0 crystals for re-winning previous maps, especially when everything cost 20+ crystals.
2024-10-16 | David Milton | Overall, it's one of the better single player tower defense games in the play store. Extremely challenging. But, the biggest problem I have with it, is the part where one of the story characters pops up on the screen and says, "there are too many enemies, we must retreat immediately". Tbh, it pisses me off quite a bit. Since when do video games encourage ppl to tuck tail and run? I'd rather get swamped, and lose outright, than to forfeit. Also never any updates. Ever.
2024-07-24 | Benjamin Evans | Absolutely loving this game. Best TD on the store by far and an obvious labour of love. Only gripe so far, why the hell do the mortar canons keep bugging out. I've lost a few games because on random rounds they simply stop targeting any monsters and then I get wiped as I have them at high level. A fix on that would be great. Still, solid 9 edging towards 10/10.
2024-06-30 | IHC Enterprises | Decent TD... Story (only slightly more than just an outline) is ok, tho translation is obvious... some points are a bit obscure, and it cuts off abruptly, far too soon... Easy, extensive tower configurability and castle mods are engaging (for those with strategic patience), n random maps are on par... Strategy challenges are also ok, but, with no more story, I think I'm done, having essentially 'beat' the game... Not really interested in doing just random challenges. If you are a TD fan, enjoy!!
2023-05-10 | Waitete Coromandel | One of the most frustrating TD games I've ever played! It doesn't allow you to clear your progress and start again, so you can power up the 'RIGHT towers NEEDED'. Of course you don't know what are the best towers when you start. Castle upgrades are backwards and can stuff your chances of progressing!! NEVER upgrade castle to PATRON TOWER, this shoots ground only which is no help considering flying enemy is hardest to defend. Its not an upgrade, just a massive downgrade after using gatling guns
2023-04-30 | Kronos the Black | Was fun. Until a certain level where I was dominating and the AI said we had to retreat. I even watched an ad to get a 2nd chance. Guess what. After the ad, it did the exact same thing. Immediately. So when you are winning, the AI still forces a loss. I call BS on this AI auto retreat! Lost my interest instantly. Trash AF to force someone to retreat (lose the battle) automatically. AI didn't like I was crushing it a way it did not approve of. Don't download this game.
2023-02-08 | Jeanne Gural | This game was a solid 4 stars before they took away the daily gifts in the last upgrade. There are certain levels you can't pass without upgrading with the help of those daily gifts or spending a lot of money, which simply isn't worth doing as you still get hit with ads and will always have to spend more to keep winning. Bring back tbe daily gifts.
2022-09-21 | Subarc | They removed daily rewards, so now the only way to get crystals is to win levels, however because of what I say below that totally screws you over. In it's current state, do not download. This game is fun BUT, there are certain levels that cheat you out of wins, or are just impossible to beat without spending real money. Some stages just pops up telling me that there are too many enemies even when my castle has full life, and boots to the menu screen. Feels pretty rigged.
2022-06-07 | Alex | Game's pretty alright. Gameplay loop standard for a TD. The predatory cash shop is standard for mobile games. Game looks nice and feels good to play. Game has unusually high variation of customization when it comes to different towers and upgrades. I was surprised how early I hit the pay wall. Within the first hour I was mostly locked from progression, relying heavily on daily rewards or pay to win at that point. Could fix this easily with a free respec option since you can brick your file. |
