2024-04-14 | Ken | The game is incredible, I love the graphics and audio and all the puzzles. It does express being able to be completed free with watching ads but it never allows me to watch more than own or two, and you have to watch at least 6 a day to get any of the gold coins so that's kind of frustrating to get stuck anyway.
2022-11-15 | Daphne Churgel | I was introduced to this game through the Phantom of the Opera one, and I absolutely loved the aforementioned game. However, a lot of this game is locked behind a pay wall and the ads don't come frequently enough to get you the materials to play side quests and get the gallery images. It was a little disappointing. Other than that, the game is great.
2022-08-23 | Malia Johnson | Something is telling me to rate this game even lower but due to my experiences, I choose to rate it three stars. It was very fun and interesting at first, I enjoyed the story and I didn't mind watching ads every so often. The daily ads come of great usage to save your money but as I got deeper into the game the developers become more greedy, asking for more coins for short parts of the story, just to ask for even more later. It annoys me, that the potential this game had fell to greed.
2021-01-06 | Alexis Baumann | I'm a big fan of mystery games, and other than rusty lake, this is my all time favorite. Great story line, clues keep you going and wanting more. Prompt is easy, but challenging all the same. It uses ads to collect coins so you can play alternate mini stories that go along with each chapter, best thing is I haven't spent a dime and I get enough daily binge play by ONLY HAVING TO WATCH SIX ADS plus no pop-ups. I was really stoked about that!! Backup progress daily, wear headphones for fun! Enjoy!
2020-09-27 | Jessica Lofton | The artwork of this game is dark and intriguing. It is one of my favorite things about this game. The game play is pretty simple but there are ads and money added from the first time I played it. I don't mind the ads but I am not paying for gold coins to play extra stages when the game is finite. I could see if it was ongoing. The developer will still make money off the ads. As another commentor stated, it is a choice and I like that you can still play and complete without the purchase.
2019-09-09 | A Google user | Point and click adventure game. The real problem with the game is that most of the content is blocked behind a 9 dollar pay wall. The one way around this is to watch 6 or so ads everytime you want to unlock another piece of the story. Wouldn't recommend it overall there are better games out there.
2019-06-28 | A Google user | I really like the game play , I find the set up intresting and they give you tid bits of info along the way about the time period surrounding 1887 Britain . Sadly all of the commercials I watch for the crowns pause , making it impossible to play . Some pause for about 2 minutes then play , my clicks going un registered , others pause indefinitely and I have to close out of the app to un freeze the game . I don't have this problem with other apps pausing commercials - it's ruining the game play .
2019-05-20 | A Google user | very interesting and knowledgeable it gave a nice story including different perspectives, I'm only just finishing chapter 2 now. but I want to keep playing speaking of which, unlike other point and click narrative games. this one actually allows to see the whole game, if only after a handful of ads and some cooldown times, which is better than forking over 20 dollars
2019-05-13 | A Google user | Had my bias about the game at first because it's related to Jekyll and Hyde, but it got dull quickly. Devs are also greedy. Additional cases are expensive but doesn't provide any additional interesting details. Don't like the idea of paying for every case when the puzzles aren't at all challenging and the gameplay is lacking. They also intentionally ruin the artwork parts when you don't buy. Instead of just ending the scene, they put a text card telling you to buy it at the end.
2019-05-09 | A Google user | More stories like this in English please!! Played it all the way through, amazing. It was like being right in the novel itself. Please make more stories about novels like this one! It was worth it to pay for the extra content. The music really set the mood for each scene. Kinda wish there were more puzzles and more interaction in the story. |
