2024-07-28 | Jessica Soleigh | I didn't realize how badly I needed this little oddball game (interactive friend??). It was the perfect find for needing something low key, unique, and no pressure to compete or grind. It's easy to get through the unique events each day in moments, but every day I remember to come back is something beautiful and different. An incredibly charming and artistic app!
2024-07-04 | Yarda Ramesh | This app is wonderful. I've tried other mental health pet apps in the past, but they were either too childish or uninteresting. I deleted them all and when I came across Bird Alone I almost didn't download it. I'm glad I did. Bird Alone is perfect. It's engaging and immersive without being overly complex or feeling like a chore. The personalization makes you feel deeply connected to the character, and the conversations and advice are integrated seamlessly into the game without sounding cliché.
2024-06-17 | Aaliyah Lancing | I've heard a lot about the app Bird Alone and wanted to try it out myself. However, the app wasn’t responding every time I opened it. First, there was a white box that I clicked, then it started loading, but the screen turned all black. I exited and tried again, but it still wasn’t working. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, but that didn’t fix the problem either. I'd hope for this issue to be fixed so I can enjoy the app, thank you!
2023-10-29 | River | Lovely game!!! Beautiful visuals and music. It offers you a safe space to process loss over a loved one. It teaches you ways to appreciate your relationships in life and how to cherish the memories of your loved ones once they've passed. I changed my entire review because I really should've played All the way to the end before sending it. LOL game proved me wrong! And I'm so glad it did. 🧡🦜 Love to Chili (my bird) forever.
2023-09-21 | Fury Flame | I feel to describe that I played this game that sat on my phone, collecting digital dust for the longest of time. I decided to try it out because I had a school assignment which encouraged me to play a game I hadn't previously. This neat, virtual pet, visual novel, little game is worth your time. The mechanics are comfy and cute. I wouldn't recommend spoiling anything, but if you do/did (like me) it doesn't ruin the experience. The full game, for a one-time low price tag, is completely worth it.
2023-08-20 | lina | I've played this game before, a while ago, when the full version was all free. Sure you can think that I'm just complaining about spending money on a game, but this fun, quirky bird was way more enjoyable back when it was free. Anyways, this is a super relaxing interactive game, where a silly birdie just talks to you about life. Definitely deserves all the support it can get.
2023-07-21 | Jennifer Padilla | Very pretty game, however, can't do much past when the bird checks in on you AND the bird eventually dies. Yes you can restart it and go through the same stuff with another bird, so on its own I guess it does what it is designed to - I just wish it was designed for more than that, a more lasting virtual companionship, because it was really comforting to have that check in everyday for someone with depression only for the bird to die.
2023-06-06 | Luciana | (SPOILERS) I've never felt the need to write a review before, but WOW. The bird is so funny and overdramatic while talking about surprisingly relevant yet fun topics. It is kinda disappointing that the bird dies, but I understand that the developers can't make it endless. I feel like games that end within a month or so should be free though. I would definitely like an update, mainly to add more time between the start and finish of the game. I can't help but grin while playing, amazing game!
2023-01-19 | :D “DarkFox6816” :D | Super relaxing, it's just a bitter-sweet end. It got to rest in peace, I wish I spent more time with it when the game was still going. Just wish it continued like the bird found a mate or something. Understandable why it didn't though. Overall great game but if you download it after reading this review, do me a favor and spend atleast a few minutes with it a day. If you need a longterm companion it might not work. I never really thought I would be that attached to a virtual pet. Hope this helps.
2023-01-13 | Dylan Rex | CONTAINS SPOILERS - i loved this game and was always excited when i got a notification from the bird. i was very disappointed with the ending tho, i only got a good week of playtime in after i payed for the extension. yes, the game is absolutely beautiful, but i was expecting this to be more of a daily check in app that talks abt mental health and covers important topics like that, and i honestly would've preferred it. i would pay $3 or more for that type of check in, not a one week long game. |
