Or literally just words. Naming a kid with something you find in this app practically guarantees that they become targeted down the road. If you are an expecting father made to download this by your expectant wife tell her no. Whip out a book, and pick the first name on a random page. You will have better luck. |

Especially it's not possible to update the matched list or your favorite lists - when you try removing a name and refresh it, the name just reappears again. This is experience breaking and should be fixed ASAP! What's the point of creating lists when you can remove names again?! It's not possible to filter the ranking lists either or voting on the name doesn't work too. |

| 2024-08-20 |  | | I had numerous issues with this app. First, the font used to display the names is hard to parse. There was no option to change to plain block letters that I could see. Second, it seems to favour "trendy" names, or "unique" spellings of traditional names. I'd much prefer only seeing those names after going through the traditional spellings of traditional names. Finally, it shows full-screen ads that cannot be exited and completely lock up the app, requiring it to be restarted before continuing. |

Really appreciate being able to filter by country of origin, it's so helpful! There are ads (like any app) but they're pretty infrequent compared to other apps and you can skip most after only 5 seconds which makes it a much more enjoyable experience. Amazing resource, it's been such a helpful tool for me! :) |
| 2023-12-21 |  | | The name options suck. I like out there names, but my god these are sooooo out there. I went through like 3k names and found less than 100 that were tolerable. The app is sooooo slow and glitchy. It hardly ever loads the matches screen. My husband texts me to check his likes and it never loads. It just spins and spins. Even after closing it out and reopening, force stopping, nothing fixes it. It's almost unusable. And don't get me started on the obscene amount of ads. And logging out ruins it. |

I mean, I'm hitting an ad every 30 seconds or so as I scroll through names, plus every time I try to hear the pronunciation of a name, plus every time I try to look up the meaning and popularity of a name. I get that the developers need to make revenue, but it's so much advertising, it's distracting and frustrating. So I'm going in search of a baby names app that doesn't waste most of my browsing time on advertisements. |
