2024-11-11 | Jordan Schatzberg | Honestly, this app is amazing and much better than Letterbox. But the purposeful limitations imposed on android's are upsetting. How is it that you won't add any of the actual useful features from ios? On android we cannot rate individual episodes, make custom lists, or mark new ratings on new seasons for shows. Things that are marketed as main features of the app. It's incredibly disappointing to make these features different across platforms.
2024-11-08 | River Lombardi | I absolutely love the concept of this app. It's a more useful version of letterboxed. I just wish the app was a bit more accessible/easy to use. Some of the movie descriptions are missing information like release date and the character limit on reviews is rather low. But I enjoy this app enough to keep using it. I also think it could be interesting if they implemented a movie theater feature like the app RunPee, that gives you times during the movie to take a bathroom break. Otherwise great app!
2024-10-13 | Parker Lester | This app is almost perfect for me. The only complaints that I have are 1. You can't have something in WATCHED and Currently Watching. I'm always rewatching media. You should be able to add stuff to any folder. 2. On that note, I wish I could create my own folders and organize the movies and shows how I wished. Again being able to add them to as many as I wanted
2024-10-04 | Casey Helenski | Love the app so far and they add more features fairly frequently. One suggestion I would have tho is to add the year the movie was made in the description of it somewhere. I know you can see the year it was made right when you search for it but when you actually click on a movie it's nowhere in the description and I think that would be really helpful.
2024-09-26 | Daniel Christensen | Fun swipe functionality to identify movies that you've seen. It would be great to be able to swipe up or down on a movie to automatically add it to queue during this feature. Might be missing some feature parody with the iOS version? I'm unable to create lists from my watched movies like my friends can on iOS. Google Pixel 8 Pro
2024-08-26 | Amanda Havens | I think this app has really good bones, but I think the following add ons would make it amazing: - An option to remove titles from the swipe feature so I don't have to go through the same ones I'm not going to watch. - A way to search movies by genre. - I don't know how difficult this would be, but maybe more curated 'Discover' page based off of my likes/loves and queues. Overall I think the app is super helpful and I'm really enjoying it so far.
2024-08-20 | Joy Martin | Developers! Please please please. I love the concept of this, but please can you put some kind of thing in, where as I'm swiping to add things I've seen, just to add them, that after I mark that I haven't seen it, and I don't add it to my queue, it hides for like 48 hours before it asks me again. I have swiped away from like 40 movies like 90 times without seeing too many new movies or shows. Otherwise, it's a great app. Keep it up!
2024-08-08 | Carolina Celiz | The search feature really sucks. 9 time out of 10 it will give you an error and you have to refresh for results to show up and then it will show you every movie that is not the one that you typed in for some reason. The swipe to match movies is the only feature I downloaded this for so hopefully that works.
2024-07-23 | David Bennett | Better than letterboxd. Works for movies and tv series. The best app I've found for my purposes but still not quite there. Key features missing: 1) I would like to be able to add notes to the movies. 2) I would like is to be able to sort the list. For example by date added it, by the year it was made, by title, by streaming service, etc. 4) Search, e.g. show me all the Tom Hardy movies.
2024-07-13 | Brett Garner | Tried the app because of the Swipe feature. It's a cool idea but why do the swipe options include movies that neither of us have in our queues? (We each have 200+ so it's not for lack of options.) Also would be nice if you could swipe with more than one person and choose to have more than 60 seconds to swipe. |
