2024-07-18 | Heather Glenn | Thought it was cool at first, then realized I couldn't properly export it the way I wanted to. And most everything is behind a paywall. Could at LEAST make it so you could add extra colors if you watch an ad. That would be extremely useful. Most people aren't going to use this because you have to pay for everything it offers other than generating 5 colors or less at a time.. at least it's fast.
2024-01-20 | Brendon | I like the app a lot for finding different color ways for my paintings but I'm not fan of pay walls. $3 a month to save more than 10 pallets? (Pro Version) That's ridiculous to me. I'm good on that. I'm sure there's an app that's completely free.
2023-08-17 | Ron Zuber | I'm extremely disappointed that you are bypassing Google Play for payments. I thought that was against the Play Store policy... I guess not. Great app otherwise. I looked, and I was correct. In-app purchases are required to use the Google Play's billing system. Fix this and you just might get another customer... not too mention a better rating.. 🙄
2023-07-03 | Sunstone Dragon | Everything that was once nice about this site/app has now been locked behind a paywall. I used to avidly reccomend this to friends but now not anymore. I understand the need for money....but slot of the once free features were suddenly changed to Paid only and that's just greedy. TLDR; theres other Color palette sites and apps that are FREE. Use those.
2023-03-05 | Emanuel Mendes | The basic features are good, but besides so many things locked behind a paywall, I simply can't pick a color by name on the app. This used to be my main use for the website, being colorblind, I could type the color I wanted and just adjust, lock, and find complementary colors and such. As is, the app and website are a major downgrade, which is a real shame
2023-02-18 | Z Bee | I've been using the desktop version for a while now, and it's been pretty good so far (although I'm frustrated at almost all features being changed to "pro only"), and I wanted to try out the app version since the color display on my phone is better than my laptop's color display. It's mostly working okay, but it won't let me export the palettes as images no matter what I do. Taking screenshots is fine as a workaround, but it's frustrating that such a basic feature isn't functional.
2023-01-16 | Rosie Newton | This used to be great. So useful for my workflow, but now so many of the features have been made "pro only" it's basically useless to me as is, so I'll have to look for an alternative. I understand devs need to make money but when many of the users are artists on a budget maybe having some ads would be a solution, I'd gladly sit through adds if I could generate pallets again. By the sound of the recent reviews others feel the same way.
2022-11-08 | Rosemary Schut | I understand wanting to make money off of something like this, but it's really dumb to charge money to make a palette more than 5 colors. This could be a really good art tool. Instead, it's an unfortunate byproduct of people with good ideas needing to make money to survive. Just run ads or something, guys. I don't even need to save the palettes. I could just generate 2 4 color palettes, or 1 5 and 1 3 color, and then combine them manually, but that's not as fun, and just feels tedious and dumb.
2022-10-26 | Curtis Sylvester Jr. | i don't even get into the app itself before having the pro version shoved in my face. and here i thought the app was free.... i mean it was listed as free in the play store. now I'm finding out it's not free. 1 star and uninstalled just because of that. the play store has a paid section for a reason. ditch the "free" version and put the paid in the appropriate section. that way idiots like me don't go installing "free" apps to find out it wasn't free.
2022-09-08 | Wiselydot | A very good tool for color palette generation. I usually use it in adobe's product. Though, I have a request there should be a plugin for adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, In design. If it's possible then please make it available. Thank you. |
