2024-08-04 | Raul Trevino | After one year of using soliom I don't recommend this brand with all the issues that we've had. Getting booted out of the system and having to reset each one manually, camera going out within two months, sensors in cameras will activate after what needs to be recorded leaves the screen. We bought 9 cameras, 6 for use and three for backup, but we have used all the backup because they keep going out and not working. I definitely regret investing in this brand. | |
2024-06-18 | John Tennant | Overall, there are no issues with the camera, in fact I have 2 at my home and I recommended it to a friend and she purchased two of them also. I definitely like the fact that you can with the push of a button, rotate the camera back forth to scan the area. The video quality is excellent regardless if you're using the infrared or light assist. Area of improvement, electronically resetting doesn't typically work for me. | |

The English could use a little work but it's good enough, and a little funny actually. A nice feature to add would be when motion is detected, showing a frame/indicator in the video of WHERE that motion is detected, like how the Wyze cameras do. Still, really good for a free app, and cheap cameras. | |
2023-03-14 | Kel H | Terrible app! Bad camera! App is unreliable, glitchy and poorly designed. Camera records 24/7 so there is video footage every few seconds, with tons of clips and no way to quickly see if there were any clips with activity of interest. Camera isn't much better - pic quality is ok, movement response is hit or miss. DO NOT prepay for any cellular service prior to knowing for sure this app will work for your camera!!! It's a nightmare to get a refund. Don't waste your money on this. | |
2023-01-11 | Mouse LaVey | Love my camera hate the app, it's slow to tell me when it's motion triggered. At one point it stopped all together had to Uninstall and reinstall it, couldn't get the damn thing to reconnect to my camera for three hours. Ugh Update: The camera and app have completely stopped working together. Can't even log in anymore.... Camera syncs again but app is still Complete gutter trash. Currently can access camera unless something trips it. Just report the app. | |
2022-07-25 | Erik | UPDATE to 1 ⭐: Will only open if clicking on notification. - Does what it is supposed to do for me. I'm not sure why everyone else is having so many issues. Maybe it's hardware or camera WiFi reception. One minor complaint but gradually growing into a major one: the app writes time-dated text files to my phone memory - one per recorded event per camera - and they're really piling up. This function should utilize one text file, per camera, and append data to it, not a new one for each occurrence. | |

Sometimes won't allow me to see videos. Sometimes it will get hung up on the cameras screen. And sometimes it won't even open up. I need a reliable app with a reliable camera. This is not it. I'm ready to get a new camera from a different company. | |

I mean it doubled in price.( I have 4 cameras and for the price of storage per year i can buy better equipment 1 time and be done.The motion detection is getting less and less or weaker? They won't stay connected to wifi. The app now you have to log in each time and 80% of the time my cameras aren't even there. I have to close out reopen re log in and they reappear? 2022-05-01 | Mary Manning | During the first couple of weeks the notifications of movement outside worked well. Then they stopped altogether. The space where you put the tiny SD card is so small and in a small alcove of an area that I had to use tweezers to pull it out. The print in the instruction manual is very tiny that I have to use a magnifying glass to read it. I'm disappointed it doesn't work better. When you're setting it up the camera asks you perform a function then there's a space that says yes or no? Why? | |
2022-03-23 | dred C | I would.love to give it a 5 star coz the camera is great but some problems need to be fixed. 1. It fails to record most of the time when someone comes into view, it only records when they are leaving. 2. Frequently delays when you are viewing the recording. I have a wifi booster on the garage and by the front door, it always registers a good connection. 3. We are on a busy street, but I only get recordings if ever during daytime. it seems failing to record at night most of the time. |
