2024-11-20 | Christy Hall | This app helped my plants thrive until it deleted them all and now I don't know when they were last cared for. i had to add them all back to my library. I hope this hiccup that IT was unable to help with doesn't kill my plants. I also had to resubscribe, despite paying $20 for an entire year back in May. The new sub is $40 and somehow stacked on my previous subscription. If any more issues arise, I will have to find another app to track my plant care. suggested fix has already been attempted.
2024-11-16 | Brynda Gutierrez | Great app! It's pretty good at identifying plants accurately. This app allows you to keep a garden journal. When a plant is sick, it will give you a diagnosis. The diagnosis portion allows you to send data for more info, but I have found the 2X. I tried to use this portion of the the app, it freezes.
2024-10-27 | M Bodine | It doesn't work very well and the instructions they give for cancelling auto renewal are wrong which cost them another star. There's no menu in the upper left left corner of the Google Play Store where you can access subscriptions. It's in the upper right corner. Maybe an error, maybe intended to slow down those who are unsubscribing, but it looks bad.
2024-10-11 | Linda Chapman | There are no accessibility options, so if you have your phone set to larger text for zooming in for accessibility for bad eyesight, you're not going to see everything on the screen. i also can't get the free trial 2 Go through it. Just always says that I have no internet connection. When I do have internet connection.
2024-10-01 | Ashlee Clarke | When I first downloaded this app, it had a light meter function that was really helpful. That has recently disappeared and I can't find anything about it online or in this app description. I'm really disappointed because I paid for the year but only got that feature for the first few weeks.
2024-09-28 | Tina Kelly | So I canceled however my subscription was paid for a year so it doesn't actually cancel until August of 2025 but they've closed out my subscription and I can't use it. I tried to find a contact us to find out why my paid subscription is not usable. I could not find any way to contact anyone about this so hopefully the developers will see this and advise me of how to proceed.
2024-09-27 | Pete Nelson | I was very disappointed. THIS IS NOT A FREE APP! Once you download it from the play store you then have to install it (a 2 part installation process). When you start it up a screen comes up and you MUST subscribe. $39.99 per year or $6.99 per week with 3 day free trial. No matter what, it is unusable until you buy it. Be sure and look through the 1 & 2 star reviews before downloading. It appears the two big issues are the cost/payments and the accuracy in diagnosing and prescribing.
2024-09-24 | Thomas W Eaton | Had it for a while but haven't used it much. Trying to grow herbs, struggling to keep alive. Just snapped some Basil. Will review again after I see how it works. So far it's not too difficult to use. : Okay, snapped pictures of basil plant. Found description, care and feeding, etc, but no diagnostics of condition of plant or how to treat it. looked closer at icons at bottom of screen. To left of camera icon saw diagnostics. Excellent!
2024-09-24 | Sandra Hawk | I just started using this app. It's been great. All pics default save to the picture file, but if you don't want to keep a pic it's simple to delete it. They are saved in a scroll of single entries, and each pic links you straight into the info file for the identified plant. There's also a way to add a pic into the My Garden file. So you can keep weed pics separate from the plant pics, and the info is well presented and quite comprehensive. Lots of extra stuff too. Love this app!
2024-09-19 | Teresa Walker | Some plants identified wrong. I took 3 photos of the same plant. Twice the app identified it wrongly as "winter squash" and once correctly identified it as "summer squash". And it identified my "turnip greens and root" as radishes. Still I love this app! 80% accurate . I do worry if I'm foraging and, say for instance, if the app identifies WILD CARROT but instead it's POISONOUS HEMLOCK that's a dangerous problem. But for gardening it's great. |
