2022-08-13 | shank | I enjoyed it. You need to take notes. It can feel a bit tedious at times due to needing to travel back and forth. Many of the solutions require experimenting a lot to figure out what exactly they want you to do. The biggest issue is **lack of accessibility.** There is no option to disable backgroung noise. Some puzzels require you to hear, identify, and remember different pitches. This is difficult for people who can't write musical notation, and it's impossible for people who can't hear well.
2022-06-30 | KA Wallace | This puzzle game was fun. I always wish that puzzle games were a bit longer, but perhaps it's a good thing this one isn't. The controls are kind of annoying; you have to tap a lot to get the character from one place to another, and there is a lot of backtracking involved. Also, the second to last puzzle is very cheeky, so pay close attention to the hint for that one.
2022-06-25 | -- | very fun so far! ads are annoying but i paid to remove them. minor glitches but i love the art style. the one glitch i noticed is that one can cause the stork to walk onto the cave, breaking one's immersion expectation of physics. i also noted that some puzzles could be brute-forced, specifically the one involving music. tunes are hard to remember anyway since they can't he screenshot
2022-05-21 | Kayla Houvenagle | It's a fun game that can be confusing. It reminds me of cat doors as far as the puzzle gameplay goes, but instead of five or six isolated levels, there's three big areas that are interconnected. Like the answer to a puzzle will be in a different area, and sometimes you match up the wrong key and puzzle, though I think I only did that once.
2022-03-01 | Awkward Commentator | Nora's Dream is a puzzle game about finding out who Nora is. Explore small lands for items and puzzles to solve and progress. The game is short, simple, and its ending is sweet. However, I think it's missing a sense of connectedness to the plot. It's more dream-like in the idea it can be somewhat non-sensical, but it's less thought-provoking in how it all relates to Nora. I'd like to see Nora's thoughts on things like the setting throughout the adventure. In the end, it's fun and I like it. 4/5.
2021-12-13 | MinstrelGirl 451 | I am on (I believe) nearing the end, and it has been a great journey! A story to discover, an interactive score that plays as you tap, a beautiful and soft aesthetic, a beautiful opening screen (which contains my favorite piece of score), a variety of puzzles... Now I just need to figure out that puzzle with the stork footprints at the top! 😂
2021-12-06 | Victoria Simms | Lovely game but it would've been better without all the little bugs in the gameplay. Things that should show up according to other players didnt show up for me preventing me from moving forward with some of the puzzles. (!!SPOILER ALERT!!) Examples: The fox didn't disappear nor give me the hammer after I fed him the honey-coated spider and the owl didn't give a record to play at the holiday cabin.
2021-11-05 | Samuel Jorgensen | An amazing game!! the plot is subtle, the ads are non-invasive and smartly placed, the graphics and overall appearance was simple yet unique. The puzzles? they made me want to die every 5 minutes because i had to use the power of every braincell. The way the plot unfolds adds to the sense of "what on earth am i doing" and the satisfaction of completion helps you feel smart. I actually was challenged by a friend to finish this game and did so in 2 grueling hours total. 10/10 would do it again.
2021-09-06 | Rebeca Ciurca | This game is really cute! The puzzles aren't ragequit hard or super easy (I raced with a friend and we helped each other out on different parts) and I like that it's a different story from a lot of games I've played like this. The brother was sad :| but the ending was cool and it was also fun to piece together what's going on by reading the letters. Something that really stumped me was the giant shapes/jewels where you needed to go to the menu, but it was genius! 6/5, seriously.
2021-08-19 | The unknown | Positives 1st: the story is serviceable, with characters from slightly interesting to nice to discover. While nothing amazing, it serves its purpose as a part of the gameplay environment. Negatives: The puzzles are mostly reference puzzles. They do not challenge or need any puzzle knowledge to finish. While this is fine, it does make travelling rather repetitive. That combined with the annoying travelling between world(WITH ADS), makes a journey longer than it needs still a good step for game |
