App summary
Trotting is prohibited at USP. Any freshman who feels embarrassed or threatened during some peer activity should record the fact. The complaints received are immediately forwarded to the teacher responsible for the Welcome Week to the Freshmen of the involved unit, who must take the necessary measures. If desired, the complainant can receive the return on the progress of the determination and the measures taken.
The Disque Trote telephone service was created in 2000 with the purpose of receiving reports of abusive trotting occurring on USP campuses. On April 27, 1999, the University's then rector, Jacques Marcovitch, signed an ordinance prohibiting trotting at USP and instituting that any manifestation of reception to new students in all Units and at all campuses should be integrated Welcome to the Freshmen Week. The dial-up application is a current alternative way of using this service, which offers security, versatility, speed and control. With one click you can report your complaint.
The application allows to make a conventional connection for free, or send a text reporting what happened, optionally with images and audios. The geolocation of the sending is carried out automatically by the application.
This app uses data communication over the cellular network or Wi-Fi. Consult your carrier for costs.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can drastically decrease battery life.
This application was developed by the Information Technology Superintendence of USP (STI) for the Graduate Rectorate.
