App summary
Assistant in Advanced Cardiology Life Support.
Avoid unnecessary interruptions during care for a cardiopulmonary arrest due to lack of organization.
The ACLS helper application was developed with the aim of assisting the leader of cardiorespiratory arrest (CPR) care in monitoring the times and medications administered.
Main functions:
- Cycle Control: During the service, a timer controls and alerts you about the time to confirm the diagnosis. Every 2 minutes, the application issues an alert so that the team can confirm the patient's diagnosis, ensuring accurate interventions within the correct time.
- Control of Adrenaline Administration: During the service, a timer monitors the interval between adrenaline administrations. Every 5 minutes, a visual alert is displayed, indicating the right time for a new administration, following the recommendations of the American Heart Association.
- Report of Procedures Performed: All interventions carried out during the service are automatically recorded in a detailed report. The report includes the procedure performed, the time it was carried out and the time elapsed since the start of the service, facilitating subsequent review and analysis.
- Alerts During the Procedure: During care, visual alerts are issued for each procedure that must be performed, such as defining a diagnosis, administering medications and interventions such as defibrillation, following the guidelines of the American Heart Association.
- Cardiac Massage Rhythm Control: To help maintain the cardiac massage rhythm, the application emits a beep at the configured interval (default 110 beats per minute). This helps the professional performing the massage to maintain the appropriate pace.
- Probable Causes: Based on the procedures performed and the patient's diagnoses, the application identifies the probable cause of cardiac arrest according to the 5Hs and 5Ts rule, assisting in clinical decision making.
- Post-Care: Upon successful completion of care and the return of spontaneous circulation, the application displays a list of post-care, ensuring that all necessary steps are followed for the patient's recovery.
- Service List: After each service, the data is saved and can be consulted later. The application's home screen displays a list of appointments, allowing quick access at any time.
- Service Statistics: The application generates metrics based on the services provided, these metrics are displayed in the form of graphs for analysis and continuous improvement.
