AIM Is ME
I use it while video recording ( also underwater ) for the unwanted touch not to interpret the recording and screws the precious moment. Works great on Note 10+ with Android 12, very light, simple and straight-forward, no battery drain, no permissions at all and no internet access for ads ( no ads ), I don't know why some complains and gives it less than 5 stars. The only thing that I would suggest to the developer is to add a widget shortcut or floating icon for instant lock. Thank you

I love the app. It would be 5 stars if one thing were to happen. The situation in question is that I want the in-call screen to touch-lock even when the phone itself is locked (lock screen is on). Right now, with 'proximity covered locking' enabled and 'unlocking on phone calls' disabled, the touch-lock is triggered only when the phone screen is unlocked. I need it to trigger whether the phone is locked or not.

5/5. Works. Many options: 1. Shake to Un/Lock 2. Upsidedown and Rightsideup Un/Lock 3. Pocket protector via proximity sensor and/or light sensor 4. App/Trigger (shortcut) to Lock 5. Customizable Opacity/Transparency for a locked screen 6. Customizable transparent wallpaper/overlay for the locked screen 7. Option to access Status/Notification and Navigation bars while locked 8. Hardkey binding (physical buttons) 9. And more, Need I go on? Good app. Thanks 🙃

Exactly what I needed! I've been listening to college lectures while doing yard work, but the lecture would constantly pause itself and jump through the video, real nightmare. But with this app, I just put my phone in my pocket, it dims the screen to the lowest brightness + locks the screen to prevent accidental activations, and pulling it out brings the brightness right back up and unlocks it. This app made it a whole lot easier for me to study and get work done. Hey dev, thanks for the app!!!

Everything but proximity works on galaxy s23 ultra. I can see in the event log that it registers when I close my wallet case from dark to light but there are no changes made from the app to lock and unlock the screen. This seems to be a known issue but devs have not responded to it for years. Why have a feature that doesn't work with no explanation?

I love this app. After an issue with my phone, that I unjustly accused the app of, Touch Protector is back to being my number one app on my phone next to youtube music. This app stops accidental touches from causing apps to open/close. You can activate via a button in notifications tab, by shaking your phone, by proximity to the hole at the top of the screen(not sure about that one), or by holding your phone upside down- like when walking. I love it, and highly recommend it.

Works as advertised. The notification bar limitation is a problem for me. I use the phone on my bicycle for GPS navigation. When it rains, the water drips down from the top of the screen, which of course behaves like a pull down, activating the notifications - which Touch Protector can't block - and the phone goes nuts! Thanks, Google! Thinking about a physical solution, but haven't come up with one yet.

The perfect app, it should come with all phones! No more pocket dialing by accident, or opening things and not knowing what settings was changed. I only enabled shake screen to turn off with highest setting (10 gravity). Also use on/off when put in pocket or lifted out (or put to head so don't mute accidentally). Lock anytime I want with notification. Is so handy, thanks Dev(s)!

Wow! Didn't know this app existed. Every phone I've used for years, I hit keys when on a phone call periodically. The screen blanks as it should when I put the phone to my ear, but must just be the way I hold it, it wakes periodically and hits the mute key or worse. I was able to set this to lock the screen based on that initial proximity sensor activation. Gives me a quick vibration letting me know it activated. Even has a setting to show an opaque image saying it's locked.

I walk/jog daily 1-2 hours. I put my phone in the pocket (pants, jacket) and I also stuff the excessive length of the headphone wire into the pocket and zip it up. I tested the app for 3 weeks and there has not been a day when the app wouldn't unlock. More over, the upside down function is also failing intermittently. I have to either close and reopen the app several times or move the phone up and down several times. My phone is only 7 months old, so I would presume that all sensors work as they should. EDIT DEC29. I discovered another bug using this app. When using a browser, Google Maps etc, when zooming in (using the pinch gesture) the screen get locked. Also, when moving an icon and holding it in the new position briefly, the screen locks
