2024-09-27 | Tom Zwirlein | Finishing a tour and closing the app is difficult to impossible. Please make this function more user friendly and put instructions in the user manual.
2024-08-11 | Mark Verboom | What happened tot "my module"? Worked untill Monday morning and now with the latest update you can't even select it anymore. How can I get it back?! Contacten Bosch through their email address. That does not work, you have to log a case through the website. Did that on August 1st, still no reply..
2023-10-05 | Anton Cherednichenko | I've been using it since 2020 and the app desperately needs "back/home" button customization. The "long tap" on the action button works correctly only on perfect terrain, thus making going back practically impossible. Imagine the user who wants to go back from the phone screen - at the lightest bump they will call a contact instead of going back!
2023-05-20 | Bruce Crist | For the most part, this is a good App. It does take some trial and error to find your way around, but it all seems to work OK. While the mapping feature found some nice bike friendly shortcuts I wasn't aware of, it is EXTREMELY difficult to view roads and trails as these lines are white on a mostly white background. Also, it would be helpful to view the remaining battery percentage.
2023-01-25 | Brian Bacon | The app has worked very well for me. But this latest version has an issue. If I have music playing and I change anything, this includes changing assistance power level or the view (music, contacts, fitness etc) it stops the music. So I now have to stop, make the changes then switch to the music app to restart. A real nuisance..
2022-11-17 | Chris Nejfelt | I already didnt like the app, but I couldnt use it until a mandatory firmware update. I do everything correct, but the reboot loses connection when it tries to connect. Backing out leads you to the mandatory firmware installation again. I Googled this and others had same issue without a solution. That's wild in this day and age. If I had literally any alternative for app choice I'd take it.
2022-07-14 | Julian Dwyer | Wonderful concept and functions really well but hasn't realised its potential. For one reason or another the partner apps are very limited and have not expanded as much as I might have expected. Besides that all the features work really well. Mapping is only just OK and doesnt support off road in Australia. If Google maps were integrated it would be much more useful. Summary, well worth the money for the hub but could be improved.
2022-04-02 | Ken Levin | The latest version of this app no longer uploads power or heart rate data to Strava, at least with my phone and bike. This system is long on promise and short on delivery. For instance, to plan a route, I must do it in Komoot, then link and upload to cobi.bike. But even then, if I'm in the fitness screen, navigation goes on pause. It's OK for basics, but lacking in flexibility or customization.
2022-03-24 | Ryan Jorgensen | I find the interface confusing at times and don't like it when an app tries to protect me by disabling certain features unless I come to a complete stop. The navigation has been frustrating at times, putting me in Germany rather than where I am (in the US), although this hasn't happened in several months. I still appreciate having this app as my bike interface, rather than the simple LCD display on my bike.
2021-10-15 | david holloway | I had a Trek Verve and the computer provided total odometer reading. Now have Trek Allant 8 with Smarthub and Cobi Bike app. It does not seem to provide total odometer reading. It only provides current tour reading of distance traveled. A big disappointment when trying to keep track of mileage for scheduling maintenance. Cobi responded with answer and process to get to settings and Odometer. My ratings are now all 5 star. |
