2024-04-18 | Rhondda Simmons Kane | I believe it's important to have this app, and I enjoy the audio to read along on listening. BUT, know it stays on in your background until you turn off the background and continue the collection of information of details location and all you give it permission to do. You can turn off permissions to stop this. We should carry the hard copy like in old times people! Much Love ❤️
2023-08-24 | Kaylee Phillips | This app is really nice to have if you are learning the bible on the go. Its also nice if you are bed ridden or physically put out because it engages you a bit. It has verses of the day and it will remind you what you've read in each book. You can highlight write notes and it's easy to find the books in church if you have trouble memorizing.
2023-06-28 | Carrie Pepe | This app used to work pretty well, but now I can't listen to the audio for more than a handful of verses before it turns itself off for no reason! It used to cut off and go to the next chapter a few verses before it should have, but it would keep playing until I turned it off or the timer ran out. It was annoying, but I use it to help me fall asleep, so it still worked for me. But now it just cuts off after 15 verses or so. The rest of the app functions seem to work fine.
2022-11-01 | zhaoyun lubu | The new update forces the "listen" option to show all of the time. It is annoying, intrusive, distracting, and covers words. You have to constantly scroll up or down to avoid it. Even if you dont want to listen. I just want to read. I want to revert to a previous option but there is no way. The "listen" icon should be an option to turn on or off. I am uninstalling this program. There are some good stuff to the program though. The ability to change font and line spacing is helpful
2022-08-06 | SOawesome | Upgraded my device which caused my apps to update 😔. I have noticed that the context of my Daily Devotion changed. I am missing the thorough explanation, detailed instructions and those supporting words of encouragement included in my previous version. I've turned to my old device to cross reference but while the text of the Daily bible verse is the same on both, the book/scripture/purpose of the daily devotion is not. I ask that you review the old and tweak the new! Thanks
2022-04-13 | Jaime Thomas | I'm glad to incorporate Gods words into this aspect of my life "phone", though I mostly prefer the paper pages in my hands. The app has its conviencies and is easier for me to navigate through. No doubt I'll gradually use it more regularly too. Want to thank you for putting this out in the "internet world". And it may be the only thing on my device I don't even have to be connected in the line to open app... That's powerful. Love it.
2022-03-27 | David Pandone | The app downloaded quickly, seems like a very light program, with very little screen space devoted to anything but the text you're trying to read, which is good. I don't like guided reading, rather spirit-lead, and daily verses, and devotionals can be easily turned off in settings However, opting into quoting verses and playing back audio the audio player appears on screen, can't be shut off, and there's no controls in settings to do so. Highly annoying. Reinstalling to try and get rid of it!
2021-05-28 | David | No option to remove ads. For that matter, no settings options period. And ads appear along bottom of page while you are trying to read the Bible, which is incredibly distracting. Worse yet, it won't let me read anything besides Genesis! I can select any verse in the Bible and it will take me to that chapter and verse in Genesis. Can I contact the developers about this? No, because there is no "contact us" option.
2021-04-02 | Robin Hood | It's an exceptional experience to use this digital King James Version Holy Bible, and it is an excellent tool for helping save others. I really do hope this program stays available on Google play through the link it leaves behind after copying and pasting a Bible scripture, for many years to come. I left that link in a YouTube comment, recently. Good job, app developers! God bless and Godspeed~
2021-02-12 | Gina Markwick | It's strait to the point. In this KJV app it is very easy to locate the book you want and easy to find and read the verses. My kind of app. The daily Bible verse of the day makes you want to read the whole chapter of where the daily Bible verse is found, let alone the book It's found in. Thank you King James Bible App for being here and all the work that was put into it. if anyone has a problem with advertisements just put your cell phone on airplane mode or turn off data. This is a offline app. |
