2024-11-11 | Steve Spence | The "All In One" resource for those that want accessibility to Strong's Concordance along with a King James Version. To find every word, you must use the Concordance rather than using the search while in the bible. Using the Concordance, a string of words used in the verse being searched for makes the search very specific and usually returns the verse. Very happy with this app! Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
2024-10-29 | Shantavious B | It can be a little confusing or overwhelming with the concordance numbers next to the words , but it's an easy setting change. I really like having the access to definitions in original languages and yhe concordance that allows me to review other texts to really get a more contextual understanding of the concepts.
2024-10-10 | Claudio Rojas | My experience while using the app has been mostly very positive. I do believe the app could be made to operate better by having the app return to the last book of the Bible one checked, rather than returning to the last referenced location of the correct definition of the word one referenced.
2024-08-09 | C Wirrick | Update: First, the started popping up while trying to read and understand scripture ... Now, they pop-up, THEN automatically open in a browser window with virus-like activity (i.e. when trying to close the browser window, more pop-up). App is no longer safe to use. I have un-installed and found a different version. Loved this app. Didn't mind the ads when they were just banners... but all of a sudden I'm getting pop-up ads and it is SO distracting. Time to look for a new app :(
2024-07-30 | Sarah Shearl | I hope this review prevents someone from having the experience I did! I've had this app for several years and it has been such a wonderful tool. Sunday, in church, I opened the app to look up our scripture & loud, awful music started playing. I shut the app down immediately, not to reopen it until after service. It was then I realized it was an ad playing the music. While I understand ads may be necessary, loud or inappropriate ads should not be interfering w/ the Word of God!
2024-06-13 | Mike Anderson | I've only had it downloaded for a couple of weeks. It seems to be a good Bible reading app. There are many good features to help in daily devotional reading, however, it would be a great improvement to be able to underline/highlight individual words or phrases, rather than the entire verse/paragraph. In my Bible study I like to emphasize particular, significant portions of a verse.
2024-03-12 | Andrew Smith | Well, it's Strong's of course. And so it's the 'go to' reference for most Christians who do serious Bible studying. I've had the concordance book for years, which is also extremely easy to use. And this app doesn't disappoint either. You enter the word you're looking for and it brings up an exhaustive list of scriptures where your word appears. Then it's just a matter of scrolling until you find the book, chapter and verse that you're looking for. Perfect and easy to use. Highly recommend.
2023-07-03 | Amber Smith | Excellent app for Bible study! Easy to use, simple and convenient interface, and the ads are not intrusive. I love the toggle option for the concordance references, and the way the concordance itself is organized. I love the daily verses as well. This is a well-developed tool that is simplistic without lacking in quality or practical utility.
2023-06-26 | S O | I've had the app on my android for about 5 years now, and I like the Strongs concordance, as well as the ease to navigate to different books. However, when I switch to the concordance, the text will scroll back to verse 1 which is frustrating. Also, when I want to review a previously saved note while in a chapter, it is a multi-step process. It would be extremely helpful to just click the note icon and see the note
2023-05-11 | Melody Knowles | I have used this app for several years. I have repeatedly checked it against my 1985 Strong's Concordance and have never found a mistake. That being said, it would be SO helpful if the thread #'s inside a definition were also links. As it is to get to a prime you have to go back and type in the # given in the definition. And if there are several other numbers given, you have to write them down, typing each one in turn. Then you have to type in the original word all over again to continue. |
