It also wants me to login twice then crashes. Still not fixed. You should be ashamed. Don't use Foxtel at all people. Products are a scam. I'm off to tell the media today how you are ripping people off with subpar apps. 😡 |

Foxtel doesn't care about its customers. They're so lazy they've never bothered to fix the tv app. I've cancelled my account. Only a matter of time before foxtel goes broke. |
| 2024-10-05 |  | | shittiest app known to man. thing freezes every single time you try to resume a show and leaves you having to watch youtube recaps on that episode because you genuinely can't watch it, you have to skip to the next episode in order to be able to watch again. not to mention the lag and overall horrible UI. good thing I'm still on my free tirla because the second I finish this show I'll be uninstalling and cancelling my subscription. |

Given Foxtel is way more expensive than ever other streaming App - for it to function the worst of all is flat out not good enough. They aren't putting their exorbitant costs into usability. Terrible value for money. Package options set up so you have to pay so much more $ to get all channels of interest. Big thumbs down! |

App runs slow, keeps crashing and some tv shows disappear, (I was watching "How it's made" one day then the next day it was removed from Foxtel and can't find it.) Got scammed $105! Thought I was paying $35/month for just the basic package plus the documentary channel but nope! I can't add the documentary channel without paying for all the other channels that I don't want, which costs $105/month! Customer service is terrible, still waiting for a reply on customising my package. |

I was then told to sign up to beta testing. Signed up, still doesn't work. Tried to prompt the update by uninstalling and reinstalling again, only for the app to refuse to download. Until they get this sorted I would 100% recommend you avoid paying through the nose for any foxtel service. Steer clear! |
| 2022-09-17 |  | | Loathsome platform, just quit after 16 years, it's a shame they have the sport in Australia or they would have withered and died years ago. Getting to the particulars of this shambles of an app, there have been no discernible feature updates in living memory. Every other streaming competitor has these standard features: 4K almost everything, user profiles, favourites list, downloads for offline viewing. Foxtel has none, and for much more money. Last update Nov 2021! The devs don't give a s**t. |

I also suggest a setting for turning off "Are you still there", or at the very least, a countdown to it, like TVs have. It is very annoying watching an important sports moment, and the video cuts out suddenly because the app thinks I've gone to sleep or something. |

The "Are you still watching?" message that pauses the stream will pop up with about 60 seconds to go if you stream from the start of the game. Really kills the experience in a close game. Has happened about 6 times this year. Makes you wonder how they can ask that within the same program? If you use this on iPad, the program streaming disappears as well so you can only resume play if you have other devices on the same wifi |
| 2020-10-01 |  | | Absolute garbage, avoid at all costs. Slow, unstable and now there are ads. This is just rubbish. The chrome cast support is very poor, there are no controls in the shows for shuttling and no auto continue to the next episode. Does not support hd and no high def audio. On the whole it is over priced and terrible. Will be cancelling once the trial period expires what a joke. |
