2024-12-11 | alex rogers | They added a ton of ads at some point recently. Pretty annoying to use now
2024-11-02 | Tonny van der Most | The application works great, don't forget to calibrate it properly.
2024-08-26 | Jeffery Telford | Absolute piece of garbage. It has so many ads to click thru to get to the app I just gave up. Don't use unless you love ads.
2024-08-04 | Soft Mob | I tested all the sound measurement apps. It's the best app, even with advertising. But! Guys, make sure that the notification of exceeding the volume threshold comes to the wristwatch. To do this, you don't need to specifically develop a watch app. Set up the notification correctly. If you do, I'll buy a paid version.
2024-06-30 | Petar Zivovic | Meter features work fine. Lowered rating due to ads now popping up covering half the screen, occasionally the whole screen. It's bad enough when you're actually using the app continuously to measure noise levels, downright obstructive when a full screen ad covers the app and you can't minimize the ad.
2024-06-21 | John Byrnes | Good app. I don't know about earlier reviews complaining about ads as there were none albeit it was purchased for a small fee. The main deficiency is that altho the app it self allows one to delete old saved recordings the files mist be stored in asome hidden location as I am trying to copy them to an external drive but canot find them on the phone, using Windows Explorer, when connecting in file transfer mode.
2022-10-05 | Laurada Gerbracht | It works great. It picks up the decibels very easily, unfortunately it also picks up my phone's direction like a gyrosensor. If I turn my phone fast or slow it shows up even when I'm not making a sound in my turning. I shook my phone to test it out and the graph matched the motion instead of just detecting sound. Still, I'll keep it for now. It's a great app. Thanks.
2022-04-23 | Willie P | I tested the app briefly and was thinking to keep it, even though it has the full screen ads that easily take u to the playstore. My mind changed when i tried to exit and a malware style ad appears, and displays a message saying "you're out of memory blah blah blah...". After that one I'm seeing "You have a virus. Click here... Blah blah blah". What kind of person/business would show ads like that to users who're using their app? It gives your app the characteristics of malware. Uninstalling.
2021-12-08 | Richard T Weston | There is no point offering a sound / dB meter that does not have the ability to calibrate it. This sensitive App does and calibration is very easy. Simply place 3M from a device with a known (and trusted) output and adjust the reading to match. I would prefer a full-screen option allowing finer readouts from the 'needle' display but there is a precise digital display as well. Ads not too intrusive but, as the best meter app by a large margin, it's worth paying to remove them if used a lot.
2021-03-02 | Zam Taranto | Great app! But I need to know how to export or move the recorded sound files onto my desktop for evidence in a noise complaint issue with a local venue. The recorded sound files do not appear when I browse my phone's internal storage with a file management app. If you read this developers, could you let me know if this is possible? Thanks |
