Absolutely love the app right now. Following the world chess championship is so easy now. However, I have some feedbacks: 1) During the game I would like to evaluate and make moves on my own and see with engine why some things don't work. 2) Given classical takes so much time, my pet peeve is I can't be looking at the screen just waiting for a move, maybe I can get a notification when a new move is played.
Used the app for a while, I think it's safe to state my opinion now. It's a nice app, but there isn't much that's special about it. Other than the player profiles, you can view matches the same way on many other apps. I'm taking the concept of "treating chess like a real sport" and suggesting an option to listen to audio commentary of the game (if any) while watching the board. No option for this yet. Finally, it has quite a high data usage, not great if I want to watch for long outside my home.
Best application to follow events when busy with some other work...... Gives good feel of stream with comments and images assisted with moves. I just have 1 suggestion, It would be nice if we can analyse the position further by playing moves on the board for the live games.....
