2023-05-01 | Lilith Aleera | I have enjoyed all of the Zen Koi apps for MANY years now. I love the relaxing experience that you have without realizing how much time has passed and the designs of each fish collection is absolutely beautiful in every way! Just wish it was easier to obtain decorations without having to invest money into the app.
2023-04-15 | TheDude X | Great game! I love the koi collections which support the obsessive part of my brain, and I love how they stay updated and are always adding more! (Such as the Easter event with flower and bunny themed kois) I'd recommend this game to anyone, & I think it's great for playing passively on and off. I mostly play it between classes or on weekends, plus this type of on-off playstyle works for the timed events like hatching eggs; Also it is nice & simple, anyone can play it with no troubles. Have fun!
2022-03-11 | Carolyn Johnson | I find this such a fun app! The graphics are beautiful! It's a simple game, but for some reason I love it! It took me a bit to get the hang of things and it would be nice to have some kind of instructions somewhere. Also, what are the red plants that slow down the koi? I've ascended 4 koi so far to dragons. I've had to put a limit on the time I spend on the app cuz I can easily while away the hours on this. I really hope the developers get the pro version working on androids.
2021-07-26 | Lolly Winne | Adorable game! Love that I can evolve my koi into different dragons! The only thing that's odd to me is that I can't see the rarity of each of my koi. It should say at the top if they are common, rare, etc. but it doesn't. In the collection list it tells you what some of them are, but that's not really helpful. Maybe I'm missing something? Other than that (and the fact that I have to spend actual money to really get anywhere) the game is great. Love the concept and art as well!
2021-05-18 | Dana Huffman | Just swim around eating bugs; not much to it, but suddenly it's morning and you're late for work, never mind going to bed. Some challenge with the more advanced bugs (despite official advice, don't boost speed for the puffers, that just makes koi hard to control -- target them as briefly as possible (target a little beyond) and take long straight runs from directly behind) but very little stress. I do wish it were possible to "buy" (with pearls) more *egg* slots, & to suppress ad reminders.
2021-01-18 | Margaret Lillard | This is a beautiful game! The graphics are stunning and the music and sounds are pleasant. I've taken one star off because gameplay is so redundant. Each new koi goes through EXACTLY the same stages to transform at EXACTLY the same pace - no challenge at all after a few times. I'd give it five stars if they'd mix up the levels, and also be a bit clearer about the purpose of some of the rewards.
2020-12-26 | Jamie Cassetta | It's a cool game. Not too fast, easy to play, even without a tutorial. However, if you're goal oriented, don't bother. You'll not get too far ahead unless you want to let go the purse strings pretty early in the game. It's worth it, just for the artwork itself, imho. The game is as slow placed, or not, as you want it; you don't need to spend a dime unless you want to; and you can just wander around collecting eggs and playing with the one koi, or start collecting rarities, whichever you wish.
2020-09-21 | Terri A Oswald | Love this game, I also play Zen Koi2, while I realize this game is older, I really do wish that when a Koi is in your list, there would be an indicator that says you already have it or its a dragon, like in Zen Koi 2. It is frustrating to me to have to back in collections to see if I have it. Otherwise this game is awesome. There was a problem with many ads,, I discovered that my text size was preventing me from seeing a close button at the nottom. Sorry.
2020-09-21 | PokerusFreak | Not terrible, not amazing. Desperately needs better controls, the fish goes where you drag your finger but as a result your finger blocks your screen and you cant see how prey dodges to chase them. Needs joystick controls like RPGs get. No information in game about why or how mating works. Update: Thanks for the info, but NONE of that is clear IN your game and that needs to be changed. I still stand by joystick controls would be way better for this game, too. Keep improving your game, good luck
2020-05-18 | Nyx Voidess | This is a beautiful game soothing music and easy to play. A few things i want differently: 1.Can pick the children you have, i keep getting the same baby i breed my koi or get repeats. It would make the experience better to let us choose the baby or at least lower the % to getting the same baby 2.Speed of prey is too fast It's hard to catch up with them without struggle 3.The red things that hurt koi the prey can go through yet we can't without loosing prey, Instead only one type can go through. |
