2024-08-24 | Kat | great version of minesweeper with a lovely art style and a vast variety of boards, modes, and little items to collect and reveal as you go. i like leveling up and unlocking new stuff as i play, too. puzzles do come down to a guess sometimes, but that's the nature of the game, so i'm not too upset by it. the items you can use on a board are helpful and not too expensive. the premium is cheap and worth it :) i like the extra cosmetic options. i hope to get the sequel when it comes out next week!
2024-06-29 | Justin Sheeley (Rellikspy) | I played this for several weeks before upgrading to the premium for a few bucks. Even the free version was a lot of fun. The game used to be really clean. Recently it started crashing again. With YouTube in the background it will crash. With nothing running in the background it crashed. Cleared data and reinstalled with no change. This game is currently unplayable with the crashing.i hope they can fix this soon. June 2024 still crashes. Don't bother with this game.
2024-05-07 | Meagan Pendleton | The different episodes and quests are over complicated. I would play one level and fail and then not be able to find that level to replay because it took me back to some main menu and you have to navigate to a sub menu. None of the menus are labeled. They just have some hard to discern pixilated image. The directions have clearly been translated from Chinese because the grammar is so bad it's almost incomprehensible. This could have been a good game it if wasn't so poorly designed.
2023-01-09 | Katrina Nelson | Okay....a few days in. I can definitely say five stars easily. I've honestly never played the hexagonal( I think it's called that) minesweeper. I like it. I've still not even gotten that far into the game. I'm at level ten. The original minesweeper never bored me. And this one is definitely not boring. It's definitely an upgraded version.
2022-10-21 | Nicolas Daoust | Great take on Minesweeper: unique board shapes and gameplay modes, items, and you can guess to end a level. However, some level shapes require too much guessing, the hexagonal boards are inferior and can't always be skipped, and even paying expert players have to grind through hours of braindead easy puzzles to reach the juicy stuff. Without those three issues this would be an easy 5 stars. (Also, the boss timer is way overtuned.)
2022-09-13 | William Thomas | I very rarely leave reviews on mobile games, but I feel like this one deserves some attention. I love the pixel art and animations, everything is well put-together, and it just has a ton of polish. It's by far my favorite iteration of Minesweeper I've ever played, and the hexagonal levels are really interesting and something I've personally never seen before. In fact it might be my favorite mobile game, period. Well done!
2022-07-17 | Bee | This game is a really good take on minesweeper with non-square boards and even adds a mechanic to deal with 50/50s. My only big problem lies with the disproportionate rewards in the quests. One of them wants you to pick up certain items but the reward for doing so is so miniscule when you need to finish 10+ boards most of the time. The other quests give around 4 coins per board but that one gives you around 1 per board and it's frustrating to get this quest multiple times in a row. 9/10
2021-02-05 | Kay Karyn | I really like this game. it's a great take on a classic and the online version is awesome. I can play for hours. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that there are a lot of pieces that aren't adequately explained. For example: - Are there two types of keys? one to unlock chests that you get from level 3 and one to unlock gem slots? -Whats the purpose of stones you keep in the bag and what's the benefit to trading teeth for them? and about a million other things. is there a wiki? faq?
2021-01-06 | Doug Lewis | Absolute quality. Better than a lot of the "classic" alternatives, and with so much more content. A bit easy to start out, especially with the leniences it provides, but I don't see that as a downside. Classic Minesweeper can be difficult to wrap your head around, and in some instances it can come down to a game of luck. This streamlines the process, minimizes chance games, and helps you learn the strategies surprisingly quick. I enjoy it immensely and was happy to drop 3 bucks just to support
2020-05-06 | Christian G. | Upon opening, instantly enjoyable, & the ads were only 10 seconds or under! Honestly, this game's atmospheric; the graphics, sfx, & music remind me of an old arcade game or something of the like. Also, you get a decent amount of stuff for "premium" ($2.99usd for: no ads, new backgrounds/gamefield skins, & some-other stuff I've forgotten). The only qualm I have, is that there's problems with the english imo, but not bad enough as to be an anti-feature (think your average translated foreign game). |
