Not free. I was told this is free. Once create an account your asked if you want the 'trial' or $100+/year. Nope. Not worth it. UPDATE: Still need to create an account with a credit card and it's only a TRIAL for a week. Then if for some reason you didn't cancel it or can't get to it to cancel it will be AUTOMATICALLY bill you.

Another waste of time. I want to use photos to create a 3d model, which Polycam claims to be able to do in the online version. I tried 3 times to upload the photos. Each time, I would choose the photos and the little icon of my images would appear. As soon as it would start to upload, it would immediately give me an error that the photos couldn't be imported. It did that until I was out of credit and would have to subscribe. I would have if it worked, but couldn't get a single image to import.

The default 3D export format available in the free trial is a little niche and I haven't figured out how to import it into Inventor or Autocad yet. However it seems like conversion tools are available. Seems like it makes decent scans. Edit: Blender has native support for the default .glb file format and can export to basically anything. Thanks!
