The app isn't necessary. It took me a bit to figure out that I had to click the "media output" on my S23 to switch the audio output to my earbuds. If you have an active (but not useful) data connection the app simply won't work and keeps telling you to login. I had this issue on a flight and discovered that if you put the phone in airplane mode it works fine! I just tried it on my pixel 9 pro and Nebula fights with Google's screen mirroring, so it looks like I don't need this.

I bought these glasses for a long plane ride, set them up and was ready to go. Then on the plane the app logged me out, suddenly refused to work without an update that cost me 30 bucks in plane wifi to fix, and continually kept saying the app needs to update or there's issues and it wouldn't work at all. Absolutely useless. Why would the app just log me out and require an update when my Wi-Fi is off? This should be a choice. What a disappointment.

Xreal 2Pro 3D is better than expected. Overall, the new wide screen Beta mode works well. The Samsung Dex works very well for reading, writing with a Bluetooth keyboard, or a full screen 2D movie. Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and Fandango work. But, 3D on the movie streaming takes some scripting. Please create an app overlay or interface or module for streaming primary 3D video services; those who gave a 1 star need this additional software. Please improve color depth. Bravo for the device!

After paying $700 then finally receiving the xreal ultra glasses, unfortunately, they don't really work. As for the hardware, the field-of-view is greater than the optics allows for, so the corners of the screen are cut off or blurry. This is a big problem when trying to use with a computer. On Android, the sound doesn't work, having the glasses connected causes video the stutter, and nebula fails to connect. All in all, just not a good product.

I don't understand why it's so ?$##+&$ hard to add support for sbs images. Instead I'm stuck looking for alternative just to find nothing but, dead ends. Even the sbs video players isn't that good. There is next to no software development for xreal products and, the stuff they come up with is trash. These glasses are a waste of money.

Love the glasses; can NOT recommend the Nebula app. My experience: - Downloaded the app - Needed to create an account to login and use the software - Attempted to use the Google sign-in, failed. Twice in a row. Succeeded on the third attempt. - Needed to update my glasses - After the update "completed" and the glasses reset, a message stated that the update failed - Uninstalled app immediately This software feels like it's in an alpha state nowhere near ready for production. Nowhere near.

Spent a lot of money on the Xreal Air 2 Pro's. Talk about a HUGE disappointment. Infuriating actually to the point where I'm sending these glasses back after giving it 2 hours trying to get them to work with the app and my Samsung S23 Ultra Plus. The app does nothing but crash and brick the phone the majority of the time. 27 times I unplugged and plugged the glasses and only 3 times did the app load full screen but then bricked on AR Space. AR casting does nothing.

MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE SUPPORTS USB C VIDEO OUTPUT. Research before you buy, people. If the app crashes your phone, try forcing stop. Sometimes when I unplug my glasses, the phone reboots. Force stop on the app+grant permissions seems to help. Short review: the app is necessary to update the glasses. They haven't added a single thing interesting for the original model of glasses since launch. Multi screen is neat sometimes. Beyond that it's a huge disappointment.

It works pretty well. My only issue is if you have a beam and you switch between nebula and beam they usually don't have the same firmware on the app as the beam. Basically when I plug into the beam it has to reinstall a new firmware every time I switch between the phone and the beam.

I bought the the glasses just about one year ago, and everything was great for a short, very short, time. Then suddenly I was getting a message on the app that my Samsung galax S22 was nit compatible. I have tried everything , to get it working again... unfortunately for that to no avail. So if ask my opinion about NReal or XReal, I think the company is damned rip-off. I regret spending my hard earned money. On something that has turned out to be a huge scam. I hate them , nreal and xreal suck
