2024-10-27 | philip kelley | Very useful app. I like to have additional controls available so I don't have to go to the bottom of my screen constantly. This app works very well and is highly customizable
2024-10-02 | scott | Love the app. I wanted to do the ad-free donation, but the payment errors out. I hope the developer can reach out to me. I'm not sure if the app is discontinued and that's why you can't have the ad removed anymore.
2024-09-03 | Danielle Dickens | Amazing. I have a Moto G13 and the navigation bar is suddenly not disappearing during gaming, so I'm constantly hitting the home button when trying to play. The gesture system is extremely annoying & I cannot get used to it. I have no option to hide the navigation bar. This app was super easy to set up & customise. I can now have gestures switched on with low sensitivity & I have a floating navigation bar that I can move around to wherever I want. I love that I can customise it. Thank you!
2024-06-27 | Make Name Acceptable Go | 6/2024: Lost its permissions for some reason, managed to get it back. 5/23:Quit working, Install 4/23 update to fix it. Great! 9/20: Clearing cache helped 9/20 FLOATING BUTTON won't stay put/goes to middle right. -1*. 9/20 The FLOATING BUTTON is still there! Just deeper in the settings: ACTIVATION MODE>click @ top where it says area. Dev: It needs a help page or pics in Playstore, it's gotten complicated enough. Original review: It's the closest thing I've found to a immersive mode disabler.
2023-08-06 | Joel Lunt | It's 'OK' but not for me because: 1. The bar doesn't quite fit my 7a screen (there are gaps round the edges & can't adjust) 2. There's no help so it's not obvious how to set it up 3. Some of the actions don't work (e.g. the long press action for split-screen does nothing) 4. The old nav bar is still there behind whenever you swipe it away - which kind of defeats the object
2022-09-07 | Gammie | I've been using this app to reverse the recent apps and back button on my google 6, which does that and even more, such as letting me open volume control, take screenshots, and quick open apps But after updating to Android 13, the bar now auto hides in certain applications (snapchat, whatsapp) and when I lock my screen, so I keep having to slide up to reactivate it. I've sent an email about this issue, but I can't rate higher than 2 stars for the current inconvenience of it until it is fixed
2022-08-02 | Ryan | This is a second floating button I would like to add. Missing important setting controls, so likely will uninstall. No ability to hide the entire button with selected apps. No ability to fix the buttons location. Not all android system apps can be programmed. While it's a good design and does most of what I'm looking for, the lack of these make it annoying as it gets in the way.
2022-05-19 | G. Moodie-Henry | As its name suggests, the app makes control of one’s device, simple and easy. I like the shade and transparency of the navigation bar. I also like its movability, so that one can move it out of the way of that which is being typed. I do not like the app's switching off when the recent screen is cleared. It is however, easy to switch it back on.
2022-04-01 | Tony Ortiz | It's insane that LG pioneered customizable navigation bars, then samsung added this with their Nav Star app, but Android by default doesn't allow this by default, even though it's completely possible, but I digress. I miss having 5 buttons on my navigation bar from my old LG phones, and I miss being able to put them in any order I like, but thankfully this app is a solid work around. Android by default should have these features, though.
2022-02-07 | Brian Craigen | Really great alternative to Android's inflexible 3 button navigation and swipe gestures. All I wanted to do is swap the Back and Recent buttons, but Android does not allow that. Using Simple Control is even better because it allows controls on the sides of the phone instead of having to bring my hands down to the bottom or to the top of a tall phone. |
