There are sooooooo many issues with both the app and the machines. You have to manually input that the machine is broken/ not working. I'm surprised this is not automated. There is also a 5-10 minute delay between when the app says it's done and the machine is actually done with its cycle. These issues lead to the machines being either filled with clothes from previous cycles or being broken. Currently, there are no ads in the app. Also, many of the machines are switched in the app.

After years, still no option to choose the amount added to the account. Notifications never come in time, only work when in proximity to the laundry room. The app has logged me out and made me log in again multiple times a week. Update 2025: New apartments still use, issues have NOT improved. Inconvenient to use. Refunds can be given, but are also taken away at random despite the Out of Order machines. Frequent price hikes occur; must cost *so* much to *only* process payments. What a joke.

No one should use Wash-Connect unless absolutely necessary. One issue is that the machines frequently don't perform well. Their washers often don't drain even with minimal items inside. The big issue is that attempting to get a refund when the machine fails is awful. The app approves refunds in the app 1 or 2 times but then you have to call them to beg for your $1.75 back. They aren't 24/7 so for a dollar or two it's not even worth it to call. Over time this adds up, that's how they get you.
