Journal entries are frequently deleted. I've found that entries are frequently not saved. You could write a long journal entry and "poof" it's all gone. So I started saving as I wrote only to find that sometimes the entries are STILL NOT SAVED. I'm so disappointed and there's no Penzu support personnel to address this with. I do not recommend Penzu at all because entries are randomly not saved when you attempt to save them.

I've been using Penzu for so long, it's been almost a decade since I started. But the mobile app is seriously making me worry about my entries. I paid for the lifetime subscription in hopes that I'd always have a place to look back at my journal entries, but with constant crashes, bringing me back to the homepage, not saving my entries even WITH the new manual save button...I can't in good faith recommend this app.

For the app specifically on Android. I love Penzu and have been using it for years. I have created a template to speed up my daily journal: 3 things that happened today that I'm grateful for, what are my 3 most important tasks, etc. I copy and paste it into every new day. The past several months, the Penzu app will not save the "paste" part or anything entered into the template, even if I press the manual "save" button. The website still works so I know it's gotta be the app.
