I tried repairing my surface headphones and the app kept crashing. It wouldn't let me add my headphones either via Bluetooth or via the app. I had to delete the cache just to restart the process
It was fine before the update on 31st Jan 2022. When I say fine usable. Now it is basically not detecting surface headphones and i still cannot fathom why we need location access for connecting to Bluetooth headset, previously we just need the bluetooth permissions which are now missing. Atleast adhere to the Google Fast Pair or Make the App better with a cohesive UI Update: looks like they updated the service to show the location. I have disabled it though.
Garbage. Really doesn't work well with a brand new pair of Surface Earbuds. It connected, but several issues. Battery display of Earbuds doesn't match what the system says. Lots of skipping, and dropping out, resetting the Buds doesn't actually do anything, etc. I loved the Earbuds because they are really comfortable but the software is terrible. It's possible I got a bad pair, but man it's so frustrating with them being new and not working hardly at all.
