It dint work at all. As soon as you're given instructions to follow the character, you can't move

How do I play my saved game? I pressed save after day 1. Went back in the app but there's no option for loading saved game. I have to start over? Does it save after a certain day? Please assist! Edit: Still no help and it seems that others are experiencing the same issue. Devs clearly don't care.
