2024-11-27 | 3 stars, I love this app I lost 25lbs using it. I started the end of August and now that November's here, all of a sudden the little Ai bot that was actually very helpful, dissappeared. That was the reason I fell in love with the app AND lost the weight, because it suggested healthier options to meals and snacks. So WHERE did it go?? I'm bummbed out now because without the Ai bot, this app became less unique and interesting... it doesn't tell me anything now it just accepts my choices..
2024-11-26 | Beware of this app/company, I found it to be very fraudulent. I paid $15 for my "customized weight loss plan" to help me lose 20 lbs by the end of January, downloaded the app and quickly found out that it is essentially just a place to log my weight, meals, water intake, and steps, with a few motivational tips built in. There is nothing customized about it. There are no workouts or recipes. It's just a journal app. I *immediately* unsubscribed/uninstalled, but the company refused to refund me.
2024-11-22 | I actually love the features of the app! I work really well when I have consistent reminders, especially with a visual representation like it has for the fasting period. Would be five stars....BUT ever since I downloaded the app, my phone (anytime, not just while in the app) will have ads pop up pit of nowhere and I'll have to click "disable" or close all my apps to get them to go away. I paid the sub fee for the app so I don't know why I would be getting ads, but it's a huge buzz kill.
2024-11-19 | There's better apps out there that do the same things. After taking the quiz, I was under the impression that Omo would offer more specialized advice to me and my body. However, you can find all the same advice from their lessons for free on social media apps from creators who talk about their weight loss journey. I got nothing from this app that I didn't already have through my Fitbit app, the free version of Strava, and watching Instagram reels. 1/10, wouldn't recommend to anyone I know.
2024-11-15 | honeymoon phase ✨️ 😍 little victories help me win the war, so I really appreciate the mini quizzes in the lessons. there's a calorie counter with a food catalog, and I can track the cal deficit with any omo workouts and steps counted on my phone or alternate fitness tracking device. fit bit is a suggested paired device for omo. I've used myfitnesspal before. it's similar to omo, but the price is cheaper and I think omo doesn't use a social network. I prefer it that way.
2024-11-14 | There are better apps out there that are free. All this is is a calorie counter with some extra advice. The small workouts are great. Some of the recipe are good. I don't like the step counting , I think it can be improved. It keeps track of your steps as long as you have your phone, but it doesn't allow you to add steps after a workout without changing it to whatever you put in. It doesn't allow you to add to your current steps. It changes it to whatever you put in. Autorenew w/o reminders.
2024-11-07 | So far, they've charged me $25 for 3 months and no access to the app without paying more. I've reached out to their support email with no response in 48 hours. At multiple points they had ads to increase to premium (no $25 wasn't the premium option) and no indication how to avoid it - thankfully I did but I can see how easily someone could be suckered into paying more and more $. Feels at this point like deceptive marketing. If I find out differently I'll update my review.
2024-10-30 | Had issues at first, but customer support is amazing. I feel like this app will hold me accountable for my weight loss journey. It has everything needed, food and water logging, exercise logging, and helpful lessons. It doesn't quite sync with my Samsung Health step counter, but it's very easy to manually add the correct amount of steps. Menopause has been horrible for my body and I'm hopeful that this app will help me. It's much better than Noom.
2024-10-30 | I don't like the app. Logging food is very complicated, and there aren't many options. Moreover, I was promised a "personalized plan" which I never got. Just a number of calories and that's it. Honestly, there are many trackers out day way better. I don't understand at all what I paid for. I want my money back!
2024-10-29 | This app charges you a whole lot of money but with very few actual perks. To start off with, the price you pay is an "introductory price"- it will triple. When inputting food and drinks, it is difficult, and things like Gatorade aren't considered for hydration. It wouldn't stay linked to my smart watch. The information they give you seems like it's geared towards teens and is extremely vague, especially when it's supposed to be personalized. There are free apps that do the same thing |
